Family Fund

The Family Fund is a charity which gives grants to lower income families with severely disabled children aged up to 17 in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and up to 18 in England and Wales. Grants are given to make life easier and more enjoyable, including for holidays, washing machines, driving lessons, computers and hospital visiting costs. Also run an online buying club, Family Fund Extra, which enables any family with a disabled child to join for free and get discounts of up to 25% from leading online retailers.

Women's Aid

Women's Aid is a charity which works at local and national levels to ensure women's safety from domestic abuse and promotes policies and practices to prevent domestic abuse from occurring. It provides a domestic violence helpline and member groups provide advice, support and assistance for women and children who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse including referrals to refuges and other emergency accommodation.
