Action for Social Integration aims to advance social and cultural integration practices, policies and strategies for disadvantaged people from refugees and minority ethnic communities from all ethnic backgrounds.
Action for Social Integration (ASI) wishes to recruit volunteer fundraisers interested in helping us to improve the capacity of our organization through fundraising and project development.
We also need volunteers willing to lead and develop our research, advice and advocacy efforts. We are interested to hear from you, if you are living in Enfield or neighbouring boroughs, have IT and basic research skills, capable of researching, gathering and interpreting data and information and have a strong interest in refugee and minority ethnic communities relating issues.
A degree or equivalent qualification in related field is preferable.
- Fund Raiser Volunteer
The Charity wishes to recruit volunteer fundraisers interested in helping us
to improve the capacity of our organisation through fundraising and project development. You will identify appropriate funding opportunities and
sources, produce and submit funding proposals, compete and pursue applications to Funding Agencies.
- Campaign Volunteer
We also need volunteers willing to lead and develop our campaign and
advocacy efforts that aim to advance social integration and inclusion at the policy and decision-making levels at the UK Kingdom and EU levels. You
will develop communications materials-both in print and electronic format for campaigning. You will be expected to participate in meetings and events
on behalf of the Charity.
- Information & Communication Volunteer
Through the creative use of media, including printed press, radio,
email and TV as well as our own website, you will be responsible for promoting Action for Social Integration and research the issues central to our work. You
will also develop the content and knowledge resources for campaigning activities, particularly for the web and Internet e-mail lists.
